On Wisconsin reports the new CDIS building and other buildings are changing the campus landscape

On Wisconsin, the UW–Madison alumni magazine, reported on the development of the new School of  Computer, Data & Information Sciences (CDIS) building – in the article “Building for the Future.”

The article notes that with the growing enrollment, “CDIS will complete a 328,000-square-foot hub in the center of campus to foster academic research, host partnerships with community and industry cohorts, and support growing student interest.”

Technology touches everything, and this new building will be the hub of activity for everything computing, data, and information sciences – throughout our campus and beyond. The learning, discoveries, and ideas developed here extend beyond the borders of our campus and a new space will expand that reach by enabling creative partnership, empowering entrepreneurship, and fostering industry relationships.

Follow the ongoing development through our webcam, as we expect to open our doors in 2025.
