Morgridge Hall Progress Update — March 2025

As 2025 gets underway, Morgridge Hall is in its final stages, with completion just months away. This state-of-the-art facility is rapidly transforming into a vibrant hub designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and discovery. We are eagerly finalizing plans to bring faculty, staff, and students into this remarkable space, which will serve as a cornerstone for advancing education and research in computer, data, and information sciences.

Project Milestones

  • Classes have been scheduled in Morgridge Hall for Fall 2025.
  • Planning for grand opening celebrations are underway. Save the date for Morgridge Hall’s Ribbon-Cutting Celebration on Friday, September 26th. More information to come.
  • Planning is underway for the Rebecca Blank Student Commons, known as The Blank Space. It will be a hub for student life, offering study, collaboration, and social spaces, plus support services from campus partners, offering wrap around support for students—all in one welcoming space.
