Shannon Timm is the director of advancement for the School of Computer, Data & Information Sciences (CDIS). She joined CDIS in 2022 and oversees marketing and communications, development and alumni relations.
Prior to joining the school, Shannon served as director of alumni relations at the Wisconsin School of Business where she built and led a team that transformed the school’s approach to grow and foster an engaged alumni network, culminating with a successful $275 million fundraising campaign.
She also spent over nine years at the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association as a marketing leader where she led some of the organization’s highest priority projects including the launch of Alumni Park and the creation of a coordinated and high-return annual giving program for campus schools and colleges.
Shannon holds a master of business administration and a bachelor of science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
