Rachel Robey joined the School of Computer, Data and information Sciences (CDIS) as a marketing and communications specialist in 2023. Working closely with the Computer Science department, she leverages creative marketing and editorial strategies to advance the mission, research, and reputation of both the University and its fastest-growing major.
Prior to UW-Madison, she worked as a brand copywriter and freelance food writer, during which time she accumulated bylines in Salon, Food52, DCist, and more. On the brand side, her speciality is in developing style guides and content strategies that both define and refine key messages and digital identities.
Originally from Maryland, Rachel attended Tulane University in New Orleans, where she received a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and a minor in Spanish.
