Patrick Leeport

Patrick Leeport (he/him) began working as the Teaching & Learning Librarian and Teaching Faculty in the iSchool in January 2025. Before coming to UW-Madison, Patrick was an Associate Professor of Library Services and served as Director of the Honors Program at Bemidji State University. In his current capacity as the Teaching & Learning Librarian, he works closely with colleagues in the iSchool to embed library instruction into the curriculum, leads reference and research services, and collaborates on programming and outreach activities in the Commons. His Teaching Faculty role has included teaching: Reference & Information Services, College & University Libraries, and Teaching & Learning Practicum. Leeport has an Education Doctorate (Winona State University), an MS in Educational Technology (Minnesota State University, Mankato), and an MA in Library and Information Studies (UW-Madison).
